The ex-proof hand lamp IL80 Ex was constructed for the highest demands in the professional area as well as for the application in explosive surroundings. The IL 80 Ex is certified according to the ATEX guidelines for zone I and II (gas) and zone 21 and 22 (dust) and therefore it is qualified for the application in various areas. This rechargeable, compact and powerful hand lamp features a robust construction and immense luminous intensity, which is available in half and full illumination. Three significant aspects of this hand lamp come to the fore: On one hand the lamp provides an extremely robust housing, which is made of polypropylene and carbon and is consequently characterized by its resistance to shock and breaking. These features are united with the ergonomic form and the low weight what makes this lamp a tough companion for the everyday application. On the other hand the construction of this lamp includes computer optimised aluminium reflectors, which create an equally distinctive light in contrast to traditional hand lamps. Hereby the eye does not fatigue that fast, because the applicant is not forced to look alternatively from dark areas into bright ones. Due to the application of aluminium reflectors variable surface structures can be realised (punctiform, punctiform with ambient light, wide radiating). Thereto three standard reflectors are available (see the technical data). Last but not least the intelligent charging technique of the battery avoids a “memory effect”. Therefore the battery achieves a longer lifetime. The fact that the electronic warns the operator by the flashing of the beam if there are only 20 to 30 minutes of capacity in the battery is another feature. Please note, that this lamp is also available with an emergency light function (IL 80Em). In the case of a power outage the lamp will automatically light up if it is plugged in a battery charger. Generally it can be noted that Mica lamps are easy to maintain. The batteries are easily exchangeable. |
